Legacy Modernization

This case study shows how we structure a typical engagement of this type.

The Situation

A core line-of-business system has accumulated point-to-point interfaces, undocumented batch jobs, and knowledge that lives in a few people. A full rewrite looks attractive and is usually too risky for operations that must stay live.

How We Approach It

We design a scalable, secure, maintainable target architecture for applications, data, and integrations. Domains, contracts, and failure modes are documented first. The path isolates the most brittle interfaces and moves selected workloads in stages, so technical debt is reduced without a big-bang cutover. Security and data handling are part of the architecture, not a later overlay.

What You Leave With

A target architecture your teams can follow, a staged modernization path that keeps operations running, and recorded decisions so the next increment does not recreate the same debt.
